Is God satisfied with the communication of His glory if others are not?
Does God consider His glory communicated if others are not satisfied in it?
trying to put words to my struggle.
I think I also struggle because of the catechism and children’s catechism… which (perhaps because of the limitations of language) seem to carry a message about God’s glory that is not related to joy. E.g. if I ask E “why did God make everything?” and she says, “For His glory” I am very interested in what that means in her mind… how to biblically relate it to joy.
it may be a similar struggle as Piper describes in the introduction of Desiring God
